The Villa is located in Cortona, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, not far from lake Trasimeno. Cortona, the former proud Etruscan stronghold is now the cultural heart of the whole region. The Hotel itself originally served as a monastery and was founded by St. Clara. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden and the City of Cortona can be reached on foot (20 Min walk) on country roads between Olive-trees. From the terraces of the building you can enjoy a unique view on the lake Trasimeno and the Tuscan hills. All Single and Double rooms are nicely furnished and have a private bath and phone. The former refectory has been turned into a dinning hall where you enjoy a buffet breakfast a and a three course dinner consisting of special Tuscan dishes. The Villa offers meeting rooms in various sizes to accommodate the needs of different groups, a bar, a common room with TV, large car park and beautiful gardens.
