Italy Tour

1st day - MILAN: Arrival in the late morning at Malpensa Airport and transfer to the hotel in the center of the city. You will rest and freshen up, then, after an evening meal, you may go out to experience the bustling nightlife in the "centro". Dinner and overnight at hotel or at holiday house.
2nd day - MILAN: Breakfast in the House. In the morning guided visit to: Duomo, Excavations underneath, with the baptistery where St.Augustine was baptized. A quick side visit to the Old Marketplace. And then: Galleria, La Scala, Last Supper, Castello Sforzesco. Dinner and overnight.
3rd day - VERONA: Breakfast in the House. Departure to Verona, nice city known for the Arena. In the morning guided visit to the Juliet's house, Roman Amphitheater, Natural History Museum, Open Market. Dinner and overnight.
4th day - VENICE: Breakfast in the House. Also known as La Serenissima, it raises on a little islands archipelago in the middle of the lagoon of Venice and it is famous for its brightness and the uncommon beauty of its marble monuments on the shore. In the afternoon guided visit to the Grand Canal, Piazza San Marco, St. Mark Cathedral, Doge's Palace, Rialto Dinner and overnight.
5th day - VENICE'S ISLANDS: Breakfast in the House. Excursion to the Murano island, famous for the typical glass, Burano, famous for laces and Torcello. Dinner and overnight.
6th day - RAVENNA/PARMA: Breakfast in the House. Departure to Ravenna, medieval city. Guided visit to San Vitale and another Byzantine churches, Theodoric's tomb, Dante's tomb. In the afternoon arrival to Parma and guided visit to the Duomo, Parco Ducale. Visit to a Cheese Shop. Dinner and overnight.
7th day - SAN MARINO: Breakfast in the House. Departure to San Marino State and guided visit to Castle museums and Palazzo del Governo. Dinner and overnight.
8th day - FLORENCE: Breakfast in the House. Departure to Florence, built on Arno's banks, in a harmonious setting of hills full of houses and villas. Cradle of teaching and italian language, the main city of Tuscany has an universal reputation of wonderful richness and high quality of monuments and art treasures. You could admire in the morning the beautiful Duomo, Giotto's Belltower, Baptistery, Accademia, St. Mark's church. In the afternoon visit to Monastery of San Francesco of Fiesole. Dinner and overnight.
9th day - FLORENCE: Breakfast in the House. All day guided visit to the Medici Chapels, San Lorenzo, Santa Maria Novella, Straw Market, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria, Santa Croce, Forte di Belvedere. Dinner and overnight.
10th day - PISA: Breakfast in the House. Departure to Pisa, typical for its aristocratical look and its monuments representing Italian architecture. Guided visit of the wonderful Campo dei Miracoli, with the famous Leaning Tower, Cathedral, Baptistery, Camposanto museum. Dinner and overnight.
11th day - SIENA/SAN GIMIGNANO: Breakfast in the House. Departure to Siena, historical and artistic city, famous for its untouched medieval look. Guided visit of the city with Cathedral, Piazza del Campo and Palazzo Pubblico. In the afternoon departure to San Gimignano, one of the most suggestive town of Tuscany, characterized by its towers, monuments and artistic treasures. Dinner and overnight.
12th day - ROME: Breakfast in the House. Departure and arrival at Rome, "Eternal City". Guided tour of the city: Coliseum, Arch of Constantine, Palatine Hill, Mammertine Prison, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Appian Way, Catacombs, rising on Seven Hills on Tiber banks. Wonderful position, for the number of monuments that give it an impressive and solemn peculiarity. Accommodation in a Religious House. Dinner and overnight.
13th day - ROME AND THE VATICAN: Breakfast in the House. Full day guided visit of Basilica of St. Peter, Sistine Chapel, the Vatican museums, Castel Sant'Angelo. (If there is time: Scala Santa, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon). Dinner and overnight.
14th day - ROME TO HOME: Breakfast in the Hose. Transfer to the Airport.

Accommodation in completely renewed equivalent to 3 * superior Hotel in beautiful Holiday Houses, ex religious residences placed in best positions, with several facilities as bus parking place and large meeting rooms. The holiday houses are located in surroundings of Milan, Verona, Ravenna, Florence, Rome (in Rome city or the near surroundings max 18 km far from the city center). Each room has private bathroom, telephone, etc...
