Villa Lauro is an ancient monastery
surrounded by 42 hectares of green grass and flowery
gardens. The monastery, built in a medieval small town in
Avellino province has an ancient winepress and an olive
grindstone continuing the monks' tradition of producing
wines like Fiano, Aglianico and oil for the customers. A
careful remaking has given it new life transforming it in an
ideal place for meetings, ceremonies, and weekends into full
contact with nature. Villa Lauro is located in a strategic
position dominated by an imposing castle, at a few
kilometres from Naples and Avellino. The 35 spacious rooms
and 10 suites, are very well refined with most modern
comforts: air conditioning, sonodiproof glasses, telephone
with direct line, TV color, minibar, safe. The Cloister,
particularly fascinating gives its name to the restaurant.
The complex offers also an equipped Congress Centre with
halls that are able to accommodate meetings from 10 to 700 people
in addition to an exhibition area and a nice outdoor swimming pool for the guests. |
