Villa One is located directly at St.
Peter’s Square. Over the centuries, since it was built in
1400, it has belonged to important roman family, which has
solicitors and barristers, senators, bishops and cardinals
amongst its members. In 1600, a Cardinal acquired the Villa
and restored the building, transforming it into a real
museum for antiques and works of art, and in a well –
stocked library. Now the building has been magnificently transformed
into a four star superior Monastery-Hotel. Rooms of various
typologies and compositions, such as 4 deluxe double rooms,
22 double rooms and 4 single rooms are available. Each room
is fitted with private bathroom, hairdryer, satellite TV,
direct telephone line, air conditioner, minibar and safe and
furnished in all their details with taste and style are an
ideal accommodation for everyone who desires a memorable
stay in a peaceful oasis of silence right in the pulsing
heart of the Eternal City. Several frescoed Conference Halls
are also available. The Hall called “Refectory”, in recollection of the monasteries where the monks used to gather three times a day for meals, preceded and accompanied by prayers, can be used as Conference Hall, mainly in U style and can host up to 30
people. Next to this hall you will find a small, friendly sitting room which is open to the guests, also offering bar service or it's an
ideal place do arrange coffee breaks. Business buffet lunch can be arranged in the wonderful cloister. |
