Castello Visconti

The Castle is located in the heart of an elegant village, lying in the surroundings of a breathtaking park. The existence of the Castle is sure in XI century. It was destroyed in the XIII Century during the war between Milan and Como. Several unimportant Italian proprietors followed in the latest years during which the building was reduced to miserable conditions. Only a small part of the structure war kept alive and hosted a recording house during the '70 and '80. Recently, a foreign real-estate developing company bought the Castello and finally reconstruction started over again, with great effort, turning the Castle into a 4 Star hotel with 58 rooms, fully equipped for banquets and meetings. Beautiful frescos ornate the ground floor rooms that can be used for banquets and meetings. A perfect harmony between tradition and modern taste is being slowly achieved. The new congress center is ready to accomodate up to 100 people for business meetings (Theatre set-up) and enjoys private entrance and parking, ramp for easier access, restrooms, VIP lounge, cloakroom, private storing area for our clients, as well as internet access, ISDN lines, fixed audio-video and dual lightining systems.
